My Work
I have been a freelance writer since the late 1980s, and I've sold articles to such publications as:
The Writer, Bird Talk, Twins, Equus Caballus, The Sentinel, Miniature Donkey Talk, Animal Wellness, SuperVision, Dog Fancy, Florida Feline, Spotlight on Recovery, Celebration Life, The Blue Island Forum, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Daily Southtown Economist, Hoofprints, Horse Illustrated, Horse & Rider, Horseman, Pet Health News, The Western Horseman, and Celebration News.

I am working on several self-help and horse related book proposals.

I also write a popular Celebration, Florida, blog at can be found at http://celebrationfl.blogspot.com/

About Me
I live in Central Florida and balance my freelance writing career with a travel agency specializing in Disney Cruise Line and an online and in-person life coaching practice. I have a Psy.D. in psychology and am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and a Certified Mental Health Professional.

In my spare time I am a Disney Cruise fanatic, and I've sailed on their ships over 60 times. I own two horses, three cats, and a quaker parrot. My husband and I take full advantage of the fact that we live near the Disney and Universal theme parks, balancing our hectic work schedules with a healthy dose of fun.

I am a member of the Celebration Wr
iters Group and the Florida Writers Association.

My Articles
I am in the process of adding links to each article. Some are large PDFs that will take a while to load. They will open in a new window.

In addition to the articles listed below, watch for my upcoming work in Grit and I Love Cats. My book, So You Want To Be A Counselor, will be published by Frederick Fell Publishers in Summer, 2009. Visit the book blog here. I am the Orlando Getaways Examiner; see my latest entries here.
